About Me
Matthew Claassen, CMT is CEO of Medigap Seminars; an independent insurance
brokerage specializing in Medicare. Medigap Seminars helps people with their Medicare
and retirement needs in 49-states. His educational Medicare videos are among the most
popular Medicare videos in the country and can be found on YouTube or his website.
Before founding Medigap Seminars in 2015, Mr. Claassen owned and operated Claassen
Research, LLC a hedge fund and mutual fund advisory specializing in intermarket
correlations and economic sector rotation throughout a business cycle. Prior to Claassen
Research he earned financial analyst designation as a Chartered Market Technician
(CMT) and managed portfolios for high net net-worth individuals for several decades.
From the late 1990s to early 2000s Mr. Claassen created and hosted what became the
number one radio talk-show in the Washington-Baltimore are called The Technical View,
complimenting his financial seminars and newsletter of the same name.
Mr. Claassen is a Master Gardener and spends his down-time nurturing his 2 ½ acre lot
in South Florid filled with varieties of tropical fruit and medicinal plants.

After hours and hours of watching videos in preparation for my husband signing up for Medicare, I found the videos from MedigapSeminars.org and knew I had found a brokerage that had our best interest in mind. We worked with Marcene Alexis and she couldn't have been more patient and kind with all of our questions.
