Originally from Greensburg, Indiana I am an insurance agent working in Marshall, MI and the surrounding communities plus Indianapolis to Lawrenceburg, IN to New Albany, IN and all towns in between in Southeastern Indiana. I have been in the insurance industry since 2010, helping seniors and their families find the solutions they need.

Answer: As long as your doctor confirms you need occupational therapy etc. in order to get better, you will continue to get need treatment, coverage can continue
Answer: talk to a Broker agent. They can look at multiple companies. A captive agent can only look at one company. they will push the one they work for, they don't have access to other company plans.
Answer: A Medicare Agent represents one company, it limits your options for medicare plans. A medicare broker is a person that respresents many companies and gives you plenty of options to find the best plan that fits you. More options the better.
Answer: I work with clients that are local and remote/virtual. I believe you work with someone you are comfortable with and trust. again, I work with local clients and I have clients that I work with remotely. its all about comfortability.
Answer: short answer NO. you are supposed to get a bill for Part B. most people like to have their Part B premium come out of their Social Security.
Answer: It coordinates coverage for both a psychiatrist and a therapist. Different parts of it work together.
Answer: most plans only cover the basics. you can get a separate plan that covers more dental and vision.
Answer: you get the higher of the two social security benefits. however their are options on how to compensate for it.
Answer: MA plans come with dental and vision built inside the plan. However if you have a Medicare supplement plan, you will need to get a separate dental and vision plan.
Answer: at least once a year, your policy will cover it unless you are at high risk then it could become cost sharing.
Answer: every plan is different for each person. If your mom is considering switching to a different MA plan we need to find out what plans are available in her area, then check to see if her doctors are in the network. Then go over how much co pays will be in that plan. If she likes to travel, a MA plan is probably not the best choice.
Answer: I would go over the basics of Medicare. Then explain they have 3 options for health coverage after they turn 65. I would also like to know what their personal goals are for health care coverage after turning 65. Always, always ask questions until you are comfortable with the answers. Finally work with someone you are comfortable with.
