I live in Cook County. How do I know which Medicare Advantage plan covers my doctors and prescriptions?
Answer: The best way would be to call an agent to do this work for you. It takes alot of work and time online getting this accurate information.
Can I suspend my Medigap policy instead of cancelling it if I go back on an employer plan or qualify for Medicaid?
Answer: Most companies that I work with either want your coverage active or cancelled not suspended. Make sure you don't cancel your current coverage before getting the new policy accepted and active.
I picked a Medicare Advantage plan because of the dental and now I found out it only covers cleanings. Why didn't anyone tell me this upfront?
Answer: In my experience of 22 years, I have had similar complaits most agents DON'T go over all the benefits in detail. I make sure that is my priority. I also have the client ask me any questions and have them write notes of our meetings.
