About Me
In my role as sales manager, I get to assist with your personal health insurance and Medicare needs and support the team as we work to provide positive client experiences in all that we do.
Another area of focus for me is to build mutually beneficial partnerships with industry professionals that would find Crosstown Insurances’ expertise resourceful for their clientele.
My work history includes counseling youthful offenders, service sales, account management, firefighting and EMS. All of these roles had a common theme – and that is, I enjoy helping others.
On a personal note, I was born in Milwaukee and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. I have lived in Minnesota since 1999. Don’t worry – you won’t catch me arguing about any professional sports teams.
In my free time I have two adult children and an energetic black lab/huskie mix that keep me busy. I enjoy cooking family style meals, spending time outdoors, making frequent trips to the dog park, and viewing life through my camera’s lens.

I had no previous experience with Crosstown Insurance. After a couple quick calls, I was connected to Shawnee Christianson to help me with my Medicare choices/application. I am relatively complicated customer based on my residency and travel. I gave Shawnee a high-level view of my priorities and preferences. After that she quickly identified a few options that made sense for me. She laid out the pros & cons of each option, I made a couple decisions and 20 minutes later my application was completed and filed. I had some anxiety going into the process but Shawnee/Crosstown made it easy.
