I'm a smoker trying to quit. What smoking cessation benefits does Medicare offer for someone in my situation?
Answer: Excellent question. According to Medicare.gov
Medicare helps cover services to support quitting tobacco. Under Medicare Part B, beneficiaries who use tobacco can receive up to 8 smoking cessation counseling sessions in a 12-month period. These are typically provided by a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. If the provider accepts Medicare assignment, the beneficiary generally pays nothing for these counseling sessions
Can I change my Medicare Part D drug plan during the Open Enrollment Period (OEP)?
Answer: If you’re talking about “open enrollment” during the time period from January to March you cannot change a part D Plan if you already have a part D Plan in place if you’re talking about “annual enrollment” from October 15 through December 7, then yes you can change during that time. These are annual contracts that go into effect on January 1 of the next year and end on December 31.
Does Medicare cover ProAir inhalers (HFA and Digihaler)?
Answer: Depends on the part D insurance carrier you use or the Medicare Advantage With part d in the coverage. Medicare.gov is where you go and go to drug plans or Part C plans and type in the drug and pharmacy you use. Or reach out to an agent like myself to walk you through it.
What happens when my Medicare hospital days run out?
Answer: Part A Days 1-90 resets every 60 consecutive days; However there are lifetime reserve days 91-150 if use those up are gone for good.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: Medicare can be complicated before you add the Advantage plans in the mix. With all the information out there and with it being an important decision due to your circumstances, area, Doctors you see and prescriptions you take; having an agent breakdown everything and making sure all your concerns are addressed is very valuable.

Answer: It really Depends on county and the doctors and prescriptions you take. Not to mention the Hospital in the area
