Joseph DiBlasio was a trusted advisor when we really needed him! Joseph DiBlasio and Medicare Advisor Hub helped my husband and me navigate a complex transition to Medicare. When I first called Joseph I said "We're 70, we have complicated insurance needs, and we need lots of hand-holding." He said "No worries, I can help." And he helped us tremendously. My husband and I both have chronic diseases with difficult insurance requirements. He searched and searched for the right coverage plans for us, guided us as we applied for Medicare, met with us in person and on Zoom, and responded immediately and patiently to our phone calls and questions. He served as a trusted advocate for us, seeking out the best options for us, and putting in a lot of work on our behalf. What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: The ability to help my clients make informed decisions about their healthcare insurance. Too many times, I have seen someone who was not informed about their choices, that made a decision that negatively impacts their livelihood in retirement.
What is the biggest mistake seniors make when enrolling in Medicare?
Answer: Not properly understanding the enrollment periods and when you can and cannot sign up for original Medicare. This can lead to many issues, some of which include having a gap in health insurance coverage and having to pay late enrollment penalties.
