About Me

Jonathan Edewards is an independent Health Insurance Broker and Covered California Insurance Agent and is the owner of Citrust Insurance Agency. Jonathan helps people to choose between a Medicare Supplement ("Medigap") Plan vs a Medicare Advantage HMO or PPO.

And he helps individuals under age 65 to purchase Health & Dental insurance both through Covered California (which is the ‘On-Exchange” "Obamacare" Affordable Care Act marketplace) and direct (“off-exchange”).

Citrust Insurance Agency represents Blue Shield of California, SCAN, The UCLA Health Medicare Advantage Plan (UHMAP), United Healthcare, LA Care, Health Net, Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Humana, Delta Dental, Ameritas, Cigna, HealthSpring, and many more.

Unlike many brokers in other states, we do not push Limited Benefit hospital indemnity or MediShare. (These types of plans are usually marketed as cheap alternatives to real insurance plans, and are highly-compensated but may be of little actual value).

Most of our clients are in West Los Angeles and Pasadena, but we help clients throughout the state of California and Texas.

Jonathan is a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, and serves on the Board of Directors of the local chapter of that association, the California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP) - Los Angeles.
