John Henley, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
With more than 26 years of experience helping individuals and families prepare for retirement, I am committed to making the complex world of Medicare and retirement planning easy to understand. My goal is to educate clients so they can make confident, informed decisions that fit their unique healthcare and financial needs.
. I help clients understand Medicare Part A (hospital coverage), Part B (medical and physician services), Part C (Medicare Advantage), and Part D (prescription drug coverage). I also help simplify the often-confusing choices surrounding Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, comparing coverage, costs, and benefits to determine which option best fits each client's healthcare needs, lifestyle, and retirement goals.
Retirement planning extends well beyond Medicare. I also educate clients on one of the most important retirement decisions they will ever make—when to begin Social Security benefits. By reviewing their individual circumstances, retirement income needs, health considerations, and long-term objectives, I help clients evaluate the advantages and tradeoffs of claiming benefits early, waiting until Full Retirement Age, or delaying benefits to maximize lifetime income.
My background in securities and retirement planning allows me to help clients transition from the workforce into retirement. Whether leaving an employer with a 401(k), 403(b), 457, pension, IRA, or other retirement assets, I help clients understand their options and develop a coordinated retirement income strategy. Together, we create a personalized plan designed to help preserve savings, generate reliable retirement income, manage investment risk, address tax-efficient distribution strategies. My objective is to help clients retire with confidence, knowing they have a comprehensive financial roadmap designed to make their retirement savings last throughout their lifetime while protecting the people and goals that matter most.
