Answer: The agent should complete it. The client is agreeing to meet with the agent not the staff. The staff can provide a supporting role by explaining the Scope of appointment and providing it but the Beneficiary and Agent must sign it.

Answer: They can delay the rehab. If the patient delays the stay after 60 days from the time they are first admitted to the hospital they may need to pay a second deductible or start their copays over depending on how they are covered.

Answer: The inflation reduction act helped to eliminate the Doughnut hole. Most carriers added deductibles to certain tiers to help cover the cost of the drugs.

Answer: Medicare will covered skilled care but not custodial care. It does not have coverage for someone to do household chores and babysitting services. They would have to look at other ways that may cover more like Medicaid.

Answer: Yes Medicare costs are going up every year. Due to new treatments and drugs people are living longer but can't always take care of themselves. The cost is increasing much quicker then the premiums. It may not be sustainable at the current rate.

Answer: It depends if the question is can I save money on my current medicare supplement or compared to a medicare advantage. Medicare advantage plans have copays until you get to a maximum out of pocket. With a medicare supplement you may have a part b deductible but then the supplement kicks in and pays. You do have to figure in the premium for the supplement.
