About Me

Jeff McLean is licensed in the state of South Carolina in the life, health, Medicare, and accidental insurance markets. Since 2000, he has specialized in assisting clients in finding the best insurance policy for their budget and needs.

Jeff is appointed by major health, Medicare, and life insurance carriers. He has tremendous knowledge of the products available to residents of South Carolina and across the Southeast United States.

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Jeff received a bachelor's degree in business and finance at the Nistler College of Business at the University of North Dakota on a hockey scholarship, where he was an NCAA 4-time Academic All-American. After graduation, Jeff was drafted to the San Jose Sharks and, later, Charleston's own South Carolina Stingrays.

He has been a top 10 nominee in Charleston's Choice Awards since 2022 and has received the highest accolades for his outstanding commitment to service excellence. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Health Insurance Marketplace Elite Plus Circle of Champions. Jeff is also a United Healthcare premier producer and Aetna front runner agent.

Jeff and his wife, Tani, happily reside on Daniel Island, where they raised three beautiful girls. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys golfing, college football, and traveling with his family.
