Jeffrey Kruzel, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
You don't have to figure Medicare out alone.
For many people, Medicare feels overwhelming. Between enrollment deadlines, Medicare Supplement plans, Medicare Advantage plans, prescription drug coverage, and the nonstop mail and television advertisements, it's hard to know where to start.
That's where I come in.
My job isn't to pressure you into a decision—it's to help you understand your options so you can make the choice that's right for you. I believe Medicare should be explained in plain English, without confusing insurance jargon or high-pressure sales tactics.
Whether you're turning 65, retiring, helping a parent navigate Medicare, or simply wondering if your current coverage is still meeting your needs, I'll take the time to answer your questions and walk you through the process step by step.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having someone they can call whenever a Medicare question comes up—not just during enrollment season. My goal is to be a trusted resource long after you've selected your coverage.
When I'm working with clients, I focus on three things:
• Education before enrollment
• Personalized guidance based on your unique situation
• Ongoing support when you need it most
Medicare is complicated. Getting help shouldn't be.
If you're looking for honest guidance, clear explanations, and a local advisor who genuinely cares about helping you make informed decisions, I'd be honored to help.
Q&A with Jeffrey Kruzel
I tried calling Medicare and got transferred five times. Is there any way to get straight answers from them?
Answer: I'm sorry you have had this experience. Calling 1-800-Medicare is the best way to speak with a Medicare representative. They also have a lot of information available on their website at Medicare.gov. If you can't find the information you are looking for, it might also be good to speak with a local Medicare agent.
Part A Inpatient Hospital deductible $1,676 but if I have Part C Advantage Plan, the hospital $350 copay per day 1-7 so how does this work?
Answer: The Medicare benefits included in your selected Medicare Advantage (Part C) replaces the Medicare Part A benefits. Thus, you would not be charged the $1676 deductible, and your cost sharing would be covered at $350 copay per day 1-7.
I picked a Medicare Advantage plan last year, and I'm not sure if my hearing aids are covered. How do I figure this out?
Answer: Hi, great question! Your Medicare Advantage plan has an Evidence of Coverage, which details all of the benefits included in your plan. You will need to look in the evidence of coverage of your plan to understand your hearing aid benefits.
What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: It's the teaching. Medicare can be complicated, and I love making it simple for individuals to understand. It really brings me joy. I also love providing that feeling of peace for seniors once they are in a plan that accomplishes their desired goals. It's like giving a gift, which I really enjoy.
