Gina Landers, Medicare Insurance Broker

About Me

Greetings!

As a “local” health insurance agent, I am committed to serving the people in Oregon, with a strong presence in Southern Oregon, and bring to you my strong work ethics while offering over 35 years of knowledge, expertise and client services, in the ever-changing and challenging health insurance arena.

Whether your needs are Medicare insurance planning, loss of Employer coverage, in-between jobs, loss of Medicaid, other ancillary coverage such as Hospital Indemnity, Dental, Vision, etc, you can count on me to always do my best to provide the best coverage that fits your needs and budget.

My “get-to-know you-no obligation” approach allows you to learn about your health insurance plan options in a simple format and in a relaxed setting. It’s my favorite part of being a health insurance agent!

When I am not helping others with their health insurance needs, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my Boxer dogs, Mia and Toby. I have a daughter, son and two granddaughters and most recently a great granddaughter, all, whom I am very proud of! I enjoy taking trips to the beach, hiking and traveling with my family and my dogs.

My volunteer work includes helping animals. I volunteer for a Boxer rescue in Washington, and I am also a volunteer driver for a local dog transport organization. I have been transporting dogs for over 14 years and it is a passion of mine to help save dogs that would otherwise not have a second chance at a life they so deserve.

If you want to know more, click contact using the information below, and I will personally call you. That’s right, no automated phone system will ever take the place of hearing a real person’s voice.

Even better, my services are completely free! Contact me today to explore your Medicare options, and be sure to mention that you found me on Medicare Agents Hub! Kind Regards, Gina

Q&A with Gina Landers

What's the trade-off between a Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO when it comes to flexibility?

Answer: With a Medicare Advantage HMO plan you are not able to access providers OUT of Network on a NON-Emergency basis, therefore you will not receive benefits for those providers.

If you have a Medicare Advantage HMO-POS, you may be able to access certain providers OUT of Network and receive benefits.

You can however, receive OUT of network benefits for a medical emergency or urgently needed care.

A Medicare Advantage PPO plan allows you to receive benefits for IN and OUT of network providers. You may pay a higher out of pocket amount for receiving care from an OUT of network provider.

The OUT of network "Out of Pocket limit" will be higher than if using ALL IN network providers.

What's the most important question I should be asking about Medicare that I probably haven't thought of yet?

Answer: For Medicare Advantage plan beneficiaries: Are all my doctors, hospitals in the network and are all my medications covered and how much will my costs be?

For Medicare Supplement plan and Part D beneficiaries: What are my options when my Medicare supplement plan premiums increase?

When can I review and change my Medicare Part D plan?
