Q&A with Frank Souk

I am moving to a new state in a few months. What's a good Medicare check list to make sure I am not missing anything in my new state?

Answer: As a newer agent, I have had many veterans in the industry suggest that medicare.gov is a fantastic resource. Simply plug in zipcode of where you will be living and it will populate allnof your options.

Are there plans that allow me to continue to travel anywhere and be covered?

Answer: Whenever your traveling and have an emergency, you are covered by a provider that accepts Medicare. PPO's offers flexibility however at a higher cost. Original Medicare A and B coupled with a supplement and Part D provide some pretty solid coverage.

Does Medicare cover eye exams, or are seniors left paying too much?

Answer: Original Medicare excludes routine vision care. A vision only supplemental policy outside of medicare is an option. Consider plan C (medicare advantage) that often includes vision benefits.

Can my Medicare Advantage plan offer extra coverage for breast cancer services?

Answer: Some plans offer extra benefits or improved coverage depending on the state you live in that can potentially lower your out of pocket cost and provide better coverage for your follow up care. Best of luck with everything and happy holidays.
