I attended a few days ago a free presentation about MEDICARE 101 by Francois Lodonou at the Public Library in Allentown, PA. Clean community room, plenty of parking spots, and very interesting presentation to learn about the topic. I liked the fact that he was open to answer the many questions the participants asked as well as the printed material his team player shared with us. Thank you guys!

Medicare is a complicated labyrinth of choices, yet François Lodonou's presentation was well explained and succinct. I appreciate that copies of the slides were added in the folder together with a printed booklet "Alphabet Soup of Medicare" for clarification.

Is Medicare's coverage for cataract surgery enough, or do seniors still face high out-of-pocket costs?
Answer: It will depend on your secondary coverage. If you have a supplement it’s will usually be covered in full after Part B deductible. If you have a medicare advantage, it will be just the outpatient surgery copay or ambulatory surgery center copay depending on where it takes place.
