David at Medicare Solutions Network is a godsend. My husband & I have met with him on two different occasions. Both times he guided us through our options even though it resulted in no benefit to Medicare Solutions Network. David was honest and straightforward with us. If Medicare is overwhelming to you, as it was with us, call David now, you will not regret it!

I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Trish if you are getting ready to sign up for Medicare. Medicare can be so confusing, but Trish is able to explain it in terms you can understand. She also provides information on the plans that fit your medical needs. Trish is great and would not have been able to navigate Medicare without her.
Q&A with David Wylly
What's the most misleading Medicare Advantage ad you've seen, and how do you explain the reality to clients?
Answer: I think my all time favorite was the Advantage plan a couple of years back that touted $20,000 in Dental. Of course most people would think that was incredible until they found out after the fact that it only covered cleanings. These ads can be pretty misleading and you need to pay very close attention. "Benefits" can be a far cry from actual dental insurance!
What are the red flags I should look for when interviewing agents? I want to make sure I'm not just getting sold to but genuinely advised.
Answer: 1 - Are they a broker or a "captive agent" only representing one company. You should be looking at everything in the market not just one carrier. That is why you want a broker in your corner.
2 - Do they also sell Auto & Home? Annuities? Life insurance? Long Term Care? Many agents are doing anything & everything and lack focus. We only do Medicare and would suggest a specialist is what you should look for in this world and not a "Jack of all Trades."
3 - Do they only want to talk about Advantage Plans? You should be looking at all of your options. Advantage Plans definitely have their place in the market but they pay double the commission of supplements. That can incentivize bad behavior and they may be looking out for their own wallet and not your best interests.
What do you like most about being a Medicare agent?
Answer: Making it easily understandable and helping people make fully informed decisions. Cutting through the advertising, propaganda, and misinformation is a passion. I enjoy lowering people's blood pressure!
I just enrolled in Medicare, and I've got my Part A and B, but I'm hearing there are gaps in coverage. What are these gaps exactly?
Answer: Medicare Parts A & B are good but by no means is it complete coverage. There are copayments to use the Hospital and Skilled Nursing under your Part A. Part B covers all of your services and has a negligible deductible. However, after that deductible Medicare only covers 80% and you are left hanging with paying the leftover 20%. Most concerning is that 20% has no stopping point and 20% of everything could be a lot!
