I recently applied for Medicare and worked with David Rubinstein at Carolina Insurance Partners. Even though I had already done my research and knew I wanted a Medicare Advantage Plan through BlueCross BlueShield, David was an incredible resource in guiding me through the entire application process. He helped me get my Medicare number, double-checked every step, and made sure I didn’t miss out on any benefits or incur unnecessary costs--all within 1 hour on the phone! The Medicare process is time-consuming, and there is a certain stress that comes from worrying that you overlooked anything, especially when life already brings other stress. Having David’s knowledge and support took away the worry that I would have less coverage or benefits because I missed something. Best of all, his help came at no cost to me. I can't say enough about his expertise and customer first approach and highly recommend Carolina Insurance Partners to anyone navigating Medicare.

I needed to change my Medicare Advantage plan that I was on for more than 10 years as it really deteriorated. My doctor even suggested staying on it as it was paying for my one expensive medication. My husband and I attended an informational session for UHC. The rep would not help me apply as I was on one medication where it was not formulary approved for the dose I was on so I needed to look at other plans. Last year I snapped a picture of an ad I saw for David Rubinstein. After contacting David we made arrangement to meet at my home. He gave his undivided attention, you could ask specific questions related to your own situation and not spend time listening to a group of 20 trying to get their questions answered. David was kind and patient with us old folks. He was knowledgeable of various advantage plans giving pros and cons. He gave estimate of your out of pocket cost for your meds. In the end we settled on the exact UHC plan that the original rep would not help me with the understanding that my doctor would submit for prior authorization. The prior auth could only be submitted if I was a member of the plan. If the high dose drug was not approved, we still had the first quarter of 2025 to choose another plan. UHC approved the medication. I really like the individual attention David provided as we figuring out the best plan for my needs is important or it can end up costing a bunch. Thank you David

Wow, what more can I say about Lamaar Steadman! Before meeting with him, I knew nothing about Medicare and the differences between all the individual plans. His knowledge about Medicare and ability to communicate this to me and my dad was amazing! He left us feeling great about my dad’s Medicare plan and he was so uplifting about everything. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone because he really cares for his clients more than the insurance companies. Reach out if you can because he will treat you like family!
