About Me

After 20 years as a public educator, something changed the course of my life - helping my mom with Medicare and Medicaid. This experience led me to become an independent insurance agent focused exclusively on Medicare, retirement, and life Insurance with the desire to ensure that my clients are cared for the way I wanted my mom to be cared for - like family.

I am here, along with our amazing team at Yost Insurance, to ensure that you know all of your plan options, understand important coverage changes, and know your prescription costs.

On a personal note, I am a husband, father, worship leader, and I still compete in USA Swimming. One of my roles with Yost Insurance is I am a national trainer for agents. I have extensive experience in training and mentoring others from leadership roles with the YMCA, as a classroom teacher, and school administrator, college professor, and in a wide variety of executive leadership roles in public school systems and private sector organizations.

I am proud to have earned a Doctorate in Education and Leadership from Youngstown State University and to still serve as an adjunct professor at multiple universities in the state of Ohio. Throughout my career, I have always approached my work as a servant leader with a commitment to helping others which is exactly what I strive to do here at Yost Insurance.
