What’s the most important question I should be asking about Medicare that I probably haven’t thought of yet?
Answer: What plans are available in my area, @ am I eligible. I will be turning 65 in 3 months when should I apply?
What documentation do I need to have to be able to consider a Medicare advantage plan, and how do I go about getting what I need?
Are Medicare Advantage plans really “free,” or is that just clever marketing?
Answer: Some Plans have no monthly premium costs, to the members and some do depending on the plan you are applying for. For instance a PPO plan or an HMO plan. you need to talk to an agent.
Is Medicare Part A enough for hospital coverage?
Answer: It covers basic hospital coverage, however not indefinitely, also other costs such as specific tests and therapies are not covered with basic Medicare.
What's one piece of advice you wish every senior knew before picking a Medicare plan?
Answer: The detailed and specific needs of the prospective members and medication costs associated with each specific plan.
What do you enjoy most about working with Medicare clients?
Answer: The interaction with the customers and their families! Also I feel self satisfaction when helping people choose the right plan for themselves and I look forward to establishing relationships that last into the future.
I'm confused about when I can change my Medicare plan. Can you clarify the different enrollment periods for me?
Answer: If you are 64 years old, you can apply for a plan on your 65th Birthday, however it is recommended to speak to agent 3months before that time. The annual enrollment periods for 2025 is October 15th - December 7th.
Open enrollment period where you can switch plans once for the year, is January 1st - march 31st.
