Q&A with David Ion
If I have Medigap or secondary insurance, does it cover my Medicare Part A and Part B deductibles?
Answer: No you are responsible for your deductibles. The Medigap/Supplemental plan covers the 20% not paid directly by Medicare after your deductible is met.
Do I need to notify Medicare or Social Security if I move to a new address?
Answer: You should at the least login to your accounts and update your contact information. If you have moved out of your service area or State it will most definitely affect your Part D or MAPD plan. You have 60 days to notify your Part D or MAPD insurance company.
