Answer:
Yes, generic tests are covered by Medicare if they are deemed medically necessary.
Medicare covers most blood tests ordered by a doctor to diagnose or monitor a medical condition, typically with no out-of-pocket costs for you.
Coverage may vary based on the type of test and whether it is part of a preventive service or routine screening.
It's important to check with your healthcare provider and Medicare to understand the specific tests covered and any potential costs.
For more information, you can consult with your healthcare provider or check the Medicare.gov website.
I hope this helps.
Answer:
Hello,
First off, IRMAA stands for Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount. (It stands for the additional premiums that higher income earners make to pay for the Medicare Part B and Part D.)
Social Security goes off your Income taxes for the last 2 years. (so, you can adjust as your income goes down).
You can log in to the SSA site to request a form that will help you to:
Sign in to fill out and submit Medicare Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount-Life Changing Event (SSA-44).
This can be filled out every time you have a IRMAA change in income.
I hope this helps!

Answer:
Hello, ( it's very easy!).
With Medicare, the Insurance companies will make you the POA (Power of Attorney) on your parent's health case. (Please mention it first if interested.)
No cost to you, (just ask the agent or Insurance company to enroll you to have the right to help your father or mother,
The agent, broker or Insurance company will make you the POA and your parent as the insured. This gives you the right to handle your parent's health decisions. Thx!
Answer:
Please give your best effort to understand the " good points" and " the bad points" of every plan.
With original Medicare (Part A and Part B), you have more control, to choose any doctor that accepts Medicare. (Decisions are between you and your doctor)
With Medicare Advantage plans, while they might have $0 plans to start, you pay copays and coinsurance and Maximum out of pocket cost.
They may cost more in the long run and (the Insurance companies have more control of health decisions, the healthcare decisions are made by the Insurance company), these plans are pay as you go.
Just all for any help!
Answer:
Home Health Care is covered by Medicare (with Original Medicare and with Medicare Advantage, with certain conditions that apply. If any Durable medical equipment is needed, Medicare covers 80%).
If you have Original Medicare and have questions about your home health care benefits with your conditions or any conditions, visit Medicare.gov, or just call 1-800-MEDICARE.
If you receive your Medicare coverage through a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan, you can call your insurance carrier to see what is covered and to get their help in this matter
Thx
Answer:
Your Medicare (parts A and B) covers most medically necessary blood tests.
Usually, you do not need to pay for a diagnostic blood test.
However, the plan deductible and 20% coinsurance may apply.
Medicare Advantage (Part C plans) also cover blood tests, and coinsurance and copayments may apply. Thx!
Answer: Under certain conditions, for example, if you moved out of the area on Medical Advantage plans, or if you lost coverage through no fault of your own, ( like a company pulled out of area,), or if you initially joined a Medical Advantage plan and within the first 12 months of turning 65, you want to go back to a Medicare Supplement or just Medicare.:)
Answer: In the USA, most private hospitals will accept plans if you have Medicare, or a Medicare Supplement. But if you have a Medical Advantage plan, (you will need to check on if it's in their network). Thx!

On the Part D, (Prescription drug coverage).
I get a list of your prescriptions you are currently taking, then I go to the Medicare.gov
I check what plans cover the drugs and the pharmacies at the lowest cost, so you can get the best prices and control the budget for your cost for the year!
