David Cooper, Medicare Insurance Broker

About Me

My Approach to Helping you with your Medicare

I’m not here to sell you a Medicare plan. I’m here to help you make an informed decision. I consider myself an educator, facilitator, and advocate — not a salesperson.

When we meet for the first time, my goal is to educate you about your Medicare options, including the benefits, costs, networks, prescriptions, and other factors that may affect your decision. I want you to understand your choices so you can decide what is right for you.

My “sales pitch” is simple: "Do you want to apply for this policy? The decision is yours.” There is no pressure. My job is to give you the information you need to make a confident decision.

Your First Meeting

Our initial meeting typically takes about two hours, although it may be shorter if we don't complete an application. We will take the time to review your situation, discuss your options, answer your questions, and make sure you understand what you are choosing.

But, honestly, the first meeting is not the most important part of my service. I'm Here After the First Meeting. Once you've selected your coverage, that's when I believe my real job begins. I want to be the person you can turn to when you have questions about your insurance, need assistance understanding your coverage, or need help navigating an issue with your plan.

If you reach out to me and I am not immediately available, I will get back in touch with you within 24 hours. That is my business goal and my promise to you.

Medicare plans and your personal needs can change from year to year. Before the Annual Enrollment Period begins each October, I will contact you to update important information, including your prescriptions and doctors. If your medications, doctors, or healthcare needs have changed — or if your current plan is no longer the best fit — I will review your options with you and advise and assist you if a change in coverage makes sense.

Ultimately, My goal is to be your LAST Broker Agent!
