In order to keep up on the above I take courses/classes when asked by individual carriers so that I know what is new or if anything has changed.
My background also includes six years in the business office of a nursing home. Reviewing cases in weekly sessions in order to bill for Long Term Care insurances, VA, Medicare, etc.
Not only am I a broker I also am a Comprehensive Retirement Specialist, which means that I look into all aspects of a person's life that can have a major impact.
I have three children (two biological & one a step) and two grandchildren who call me Mormor.
During my non working hours I keep busy by spending time with my family & friends. I like to do the normal things like movies, sight seeing when in a new area whether on vacation or going to conferences/seminars, fishing, swimming, etc.
