My Medicaid ends when I’m outside the U.S. for over 30 days, leaving me to pay Medicare Part B premiums on Social Security retirement income alone. Is there a plan that covers those premiums while I’m abroad?

Answer: I would need more information to answer this question. Are you on vacation or are you traveling. If you could provide me with more specific information, I would appreciate it.

I'm confused about the different tiers in Medicare Part D plans. How do they affect what I pay for my medications?

Answer: All Medicare Part D plans have to have a 5-tier formulary. The tiers go from tier 1 and tier 2. Which are low-cost generic medications. Tier 3 & Tier 4 are your preferred name brand medications. Lastly, you have tier 5 which are specialty medications. The costs for medications rise as you move up the tiers and this can vary from plan to plan.
