I keep hearing about free preventive services with Medicare. What exactly is free and what will I still pay for?
Answer: Certain preventative services are covered at a $0 copay such as
* Annual Wellness Visit
*Certain Screenings such as colonoscopies and mammograms.
*Certain Vaccines are also covered at a $0 copay such as Hepatitis and Flu shots.
Can I use HSA funds to pay Medicare Supplement (Medigap) premiums?
Answer: No you cannot use HSA funds to pay for Medicare Supplement premiums. You can use the funds for Part A and Part B premiums as well as Part D and Part C premiums.
