Who will make medical decisions as to what is necessary to me: my Doctor or the insurance company?
Answer: Your doctor is the one who will make your Medicare treatment decisions. As part of the application process for a Humana Medicare Advantage we need to know who your doctors are and the drugs you are on so we can offer a Medicare advantage plan that you doctor is listed on and then the plan will accept the doctor's treatment decision.
What is the main benefit of Medicare Part D?
Answer: Medicare Part D is a standalone drug that you would need if you were on a Medicare Supplement plan. If you purchase a Medicare Advantage plan, you not only have drug coverage included in the plan, but vision, Dental, and hearing all in the same policy
With a Medicare Advantage plan, you also will not have an additional monthly premium like you do with a Medicare Supplement plan. Your part B of Medicare pays the premium for a Medicare Advantage plan, and we have a plan through Humana that pays money back to your part B, which reduces the amount of money taken from your part B every month
