Chris Bell, Medicare Insurance Broker
About Me
Hi, I’m Chris Bell, a local independent Medicare insurance agent. Since 2014, I help seniors understand their health insurance options and make confident, informed decisions.
Medicare can feel complicated, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’ll take the time to listen to your needs, answer your questions in plain language, and compare plans from nationally and locally recognized insurance companies. Together, we’ll review important details such as your doctors, prescriptions, preferred pharmacies, coverage needs, and budget.
My goal is not to pressure you into a plan—it is to help you understand your choices and find coverage that fits your needs. My assistance comes at no additional cost to you, and I’ll remain available after enrollment whenever questions arise.
Call me today, and let’s make Medicare easier. Be sure to mention that you found me on Medicare Agents Hub!

Chris Bell is the most valuable help in all matters Medicare for both my husband and myself. He is quick to get back to us when we have questions or need clarification and spent alot of time with us, both on the phone and in office to set up our initial Medicare accounts a few years ago. Since that intial setup, he has answered more questions from me on income and inhertitance regarding IRMA. Chris is very knowledgeable and I am glad a friend recommended him to us. I would recommend Chris to anyone for all their Medicare needs.

Q&A with Chris Bell
Why do some clients ignore your advice and end up in bad Medicare plans-what makes them resistant?
Answer: Some clients only want the absolute cheapest thing. Even when showing a different plan might be a few dollars more. No one cares about customer service until they have an issue. Most people think they are immune to the max out-of-pocket on plans until a surgery is needed.
We can advise, but when people say we are only out for money or they have friends that have a different plan that say it's better without actually comparing.
An agent asked me to sign a scope of appointment for before we could discuss my Medicare insurance or part D plan. What is an SOA? Is this normal? Are call centers exempt from this practice?
Answer: Yes, this is a normal part of helping seniors. In fact, this shows that the agent is doing their job the correct way.
The SOA is just a form that says they are not Medicare, are a licensed agent, and that you do not have to sign up for a plan; it just gives the agent the ability to present plan options that you agree to in advance of the meeting.
A call center is not exempt, but they typically read a verbal one that is recorded. Since you call into them, they are exempt from the 48 hours wait a local field agent would need.
I hope this helps answer your question.
