About Me

I’m Cheri Head, a licensed independent insurance agent and unapologetic Medicare nerd. Yes, I actually read the fine print, and I enjoy figuring out the stuff that makes most people want to throw their laptop out a window.

I started Savvy Senior Solutions because I saw smart, capable people overwhelmed by a system far more confusing than it has any right to be. Medicare is full of rules, deadlines, tradeoffs, and expensive ways to get it wrong. Too often, people are handed a glossy brochure, told a plan has “great benefits,” and never shown the bigger picture.

That bothers me.

I don’t pretend every option is equally wonderful when it isn’t. I’ll tell you what I like and why, what concerns me, and when the answer is genuinely “it depends.” No scare tactics, pressure, canned scripts, or fake urgency.

I research, ask questions, and explain the tradeoffs. Because I work with multiple insurance companies, I can help compare options. Sometimes the best fit is Original Medicare with a supplement. Sometimes it’s Medicare Advantage. Sometimes the smartest move is leaving your coverage exactly as it is.

I’m not here to sell you on a particular path. I’m here to help you make a smart decision. My Medicare guidance is always free to my clients, with no strings and no obligation.

I’m a longtime Californian and Marin County local. I believe people have rights and deserve dignity, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, income, politics, or family structure. My clients don’t need to think like I do, but with me, they will always know they matter.
