Why does Medicare have so many coverage gaps, and is it designed that way on purpose?
Answer: Medicare covers both inpatient and outpatient services which cover a wide range of services including many preventative tests. There are many different ways to tailor your coverage to make sure your needs are met. Medicare supplements, Drug plans, or a Medicare Advantage plans are all ways to ensure you have the coverage you need.
What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?
Answer: Individually licensed Medicare Agents have the opportunity to represent multiple plans in your area therefore they are able to compare plans across different companies and truly find a plan that best fits your needs.
What happens if I am already retired and collecting Social Security when I turn 65?
Answer: If you’re already getting benefits from Social Security or the Railroad
Retirement Board (RRB), you’ll automatically get Part A and Part B starting
the first day of the month you turn 65. If your birthday is on the first day of the
month, Part A and Part B starts the first day of the prior month.
