About Me

I’m Austin Clifton, owner of Clifton Insurance Agency, an independent insurance agency based in Mattawan, Michigan. I help individuals and families throughout Southwest Michigan and beyond understand their Medicare options and make confident decisions about their coverage.

As an independent Medicare agent, I work with multiple major insurance carriers rather than representing just one company. My goal is to help you compare your options based on what matters most to you—including your doctors, prescriptions, healthcare needs, budget, and preferred benefits.

I believe Medicare should be explained in plain English, without pressure. Whether you’re turning 65, retiring, moving, losing employer coverage, receiving Extra Help or Medicaid, or simply want an annual review of your current Medicare plan, I’m here to help you understand your options.

My relationship with clients doesn’t end after enrollment. I stay available throughout the year to answer questions, provide Medicare updates, and help clients review their coverage as their needs and available plans change.

Clifton Insurance Agency offers phone, virtual, and in-person appointments, including in-home meetings when appropriate. I regularly serve clients throughout the Kalamazoo, Portage, Mattawan, Grand Rapids, and Lansing areas.
