Anthony Orner, Medicare Insurance Agent

About Me

Anthony Orner is an independent Medicare insurance broker and the founder of easyKind Medicare, based at 1309 Route 70 West in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He serves South Jersey in person — Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties — and all 21 New Jersey counties by phone and video. He is licensed in New Jersey and 34 other states (NPN 20586791).

easyKind Medicare holds a perfect record on Google: all 142 of its reviews are five stars. In one client's words: "Anthony is a professional expert in Medicare… He returns your calls and messages promptly. Anthony is extremely kind and truly cares. Thank you for making the transition to Medicare easy and stress-free."

Anthony specializes in Medicare Supplement (Medigap) and Medicare Advantage comparisons for people turning 65, working past 65, or reviewing an existing plan. His agency publishes the filed Medigap rate data it quotes from at MedicareYourself — including a monthly-updated New Jersey Rate Index. In July 2026, his team pulled Plan G and Plan N quotes in all 21 New Jersey counties and confirmed the filed rate ranges are identical statewide: in New Jersey, the carrier you choose matters far more than the town you live in.

Consultations are free with no obligation — brokers are paid by the carriers, so your premium is identical whether you enroll through Anthony or directly with a company. The difference is seeing every carrier's filed rate side by side. Best time to start: about six months before your Part B effective date, so you can lock in a rate during your Medigap Open Enrollment Period with no coverage gap.

Q&A with Anthony Orner

Can I change my Supplemental/Medigap plan at any time?

Answer: Yes. Outside of your initial open enrollment, most states allow carriers to ask health questions to health qualify to get access.

The reason to check every two to three years is that carriers will file rate increases at different times and a different amount and the lowest cost option could change year over year.

For a deeper explanation, see MedicareYourself’s guide on switching Medicare Supplement carriers.

Does Medicare cover Silver Sneakers?

Answer: Medicare can cover silver sneakers, but it's not the Medicare that everyone talks about. Medicare itself is a government entity. They will not be paying for your silver sneakers. However, the Medicare Advantage plans that are offered by private insurers may offer to pay for your SilverSneaker Access. In addition, some Medicare Supplements will, although it's very rare, and I typically don't recommend packaging your gym membership with your Medicare Supplement premium.

What are the reasons why I should work with a Medicare agent?

Answer: One way that I explain this simply is: if you were to get a speeding ticket and had to go to court for it, and if you didn't fight it properly, you would be on the hook for points that could affect the cost of your insurance for a very long time. Let's say you call a lawyer to help you with this, and they say, "Yeah, we'll help you, and it won't cost you anything." Would you accept that help?

Overwhelmingly, the answer should be yes. Not only that, the prices you would pay by calling 10 different carriers would be the same if a broker just ran all those for you. There's no increase in cost to you for this help.
