Answer: You can keep seeing your doctor if they are in the Medicare Advantage Plan network. If your doctor is out of network and you have a HMO program you will be responsible for paying all costs. A PPO program has some flexibility where you might be able to go out of network but you will most likely pay a higher copayment for seeing an out of network provider .
How to know if a Medicare agent is legitimate?
Answer: Knowing if a Medicare insurance agent is legitimate you should check to make sure they have the proper licensing . You can also check with the Insurance companies they are representing .
What's one piece of advice you wish every senior knew before picking a Medicare plan?
Answer: When picking a Medicare plan it is very important to know what your out of pocket cost will be. It is very important to know the differences between a Medicare Supplement plan and a Medicare Advantage plan and your out of pocket cost.
So with all these 2025 Medicare changes, should I be switching plans or staying put?
Answer: With the changes in 2025 People should not make any changes at this time. I recommend waiting till the Annual Enrollment Period to see how plans will change for 2026. The Annual Enrollment period is from Oct, 15th to Dec.,7th. This is the time you can decide if you would like to make a plan change for 2026.
How well does Medicare support seniors who need assisted living, or does it fall short?
Answer: Medicare does not cover the cost of assisted living facilities .Medicare primarily covers medical services and short term care rehabilitation stays in skilled nursing facilities
How do you educate clients who are completely new to Medicare?
Answer: New to Medicare ? It is important you understand the different parts of Medicare. You have part A part B Part D and part C. It is important to understand how each part works. Depending on what type of program your looking for it is also important to know how a Medicare Supplement will work with your program.
